Browsing this site requires no account and no personal information. If you subscribe to published updates, we store the email address you provide and the date of subscription for the sole purpose of sending notices when new records are published.

How it is used

Subscriber addresses are not sold, rented or shared with third parties, and are not used for political canvassing. Correspondence you send to the communications team is retained only as long as needed to resolve the enquiry or record a correction.

Photographs and stories

People featured in impact stories and site photography are included with their consent. If you appear in published material and wish it withdrawn, contact the communications team and it will be removed from this site.

Removing your data

Every update email includes an unsubscribe route, and you may also request removal directly. Contact the communications team and your address will be deleted from the mailing list.
