“We used to walk more than a kilometre for water. The ward borehole changed our mornings completely.”
Before the ward borehole scheme reached her community, Adijat and her neighbours relied on a distant stream during the dry season. With a motorised borehole now sited within the ward, households draw clean water daily and reported cases of water-borne illness among children have fallen.
